Laura Levai Aksin is a full professor of flute at the University of Novi Sad at the Academy of Arts and solo flutst of the Vojvodina Symphony Orchestra.

She specialized in Paris in the classes of prof. Patrick Gallois and prof. Claude Lefebvre where she gained "1er prix de superieur" and "1er prix d'exellence à l’unanimité du jury". She graduated and received her master's degree from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad in the class of prof. Marijan Egić. She improved her knowledge during numerous master classes held by renowned soloists and pedagogues, such as Jacques Castagnet, Aurèle Nicolet etc.

She is the winner of the first and special awards at republic and federal competitions. She was awarded the competition of Music Artists of Yugoslavia in Zagreb. At the 6th International Tribune of the Composers in Belgrade, she was awarded with the First Prize for the interpretation of contemporary works.

She performed as a soloist with a number of symphonic and chamber orchestras in Serbia and abroad. She gave a number of recitals and played in many chamber concerts in the former countries of Yugoslavia, as well as in France, Belgium, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Russia, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Israel, etc.

She was a solo flutist of the Opera Orchestra of the Serbian National Theatre, the chamber orchestra Camerata Academica in Novi Sad, as well as of the ensemble for the new music Musica Viva. During her stay in France, she was the member of the Tickmayer Formatio, Theatre Jel and Orleans Flute Orchestra.

She is a member of the chamber trio with Rita Kinka (piano) and Mark Josifoski (violin), The Flute Trio Density and Wind Quintet Synergia 5.

The publishing houses Recommended Records from London, EOS from Graz, Visio Mundi and SKC from Novi Sad published compact discs with her performances.

She has given a large number of master classes and served as a jury member at numerous domestic and international competitions and festivals.

Laura Levai Aksin je redovni profesor flaute Univerziteta u Novom Sadu na Akademiji umetnosti i solo flauta Vojvođanskog simfonijskog orkestra.

Specijalizovala se u Parizu u klasama prof. Patrick Gallois i prof. Claude Lefebvre, gdje je stekla "1er prix de superieur" i "1er prix d'exellence à l’unanimité du jury". Diplomirala je i magistrirala na Akademiji umetnosti u Novom Sad u klasi prof. Marijana Egića. Svoje znanje je usavršavala na brojnim majstorskim kursevima kod renomiranih solista i pedagoga, kao što su Jacques Castagnet, Aurèle Nicolet itd.

Dobitnica je prvih i specijalnih nagrada na republičkim i saveznim takmičenjima. Nagrađena je na Takmičenju muzičkih umetnika Jugoslavije u Zagrebu. Na VI Međunarodnoj tribini kompozitora u Beogradu, dobila je Prvu nagradu za interpretaciju savremenih dela.

Nastupala je kao solista sa nizom simfonijskih i kamernih orkestara u Srbiji i inostranstvu. Održala je brojne recitale i svirala na mnogim kamernim koncertima u bivšim zemljama Jugoslavije, kao i u Francuskoj, Belgiji, Velikoj Britaniji, Holandiji, Nemačkoj, Švajcarskoj, Italiji, Mađarskoj, Slovačkoj, Češkoj, Rusiji, Španiji, Portugalu, Grčkoj, Izraelu, itd.

Bila je solo flautista orkestra Opere Srpskog narodnog pozorišta, kamernog orkestra Camerata Academica u Novom Sadu, kao i ansambla za novu muziku Musica Viva. Tokom boravka u Francuskoj bila je članica ansabmla Tickmayer Formatio, Theatre Jel and Orleans Flute Orchestra.

Članica je kamernog trija sa Ritom Kinkom (klavir) i Markom Josifoskijem (violina), trija flauta Density i duvačkog kvinteta Synergia 5.

Izdavačke kuće Recommended Records iz Londona, EOS iz Graca, Visio Mundi i SKC iz Novog Sada, izdali su kompakt diskove sa njenim izvođenjima.

Održala je veliki broj majstorskih kurseva i bila član žirija na brojnim domaćim i međunarodnim takmičenjima i festivalima.
